Gangvaa l Rajinikanth, Shabana Azmi l 1984

Synopsis : Gangvaa (Rajnikant) stays with his parents & brother in a village. His father works for Thakur Mahendra Singh (Amrish Puri). While digging for a well his father & other men get treasure. His father tells thakur to give it to the government but Thakur doesn’t listen. Gangvaa’s father complains in police but Thakur comes out from jail with the help of a lawyer. He asks his Munim to kill Gangvaa’s parents death. When Gangvaa comes to know about his parents death he takes revenge & kills Thakur Mahendra Singh. Then Gangvaa, his brothe Bhima & his friends become dakus. Then they kill all rich people who trouble the poor village people. Inspector (Suresh Oberoi) comes to the village to catch Gangvaa & his men. Chotta Thakur (Kader Khan) tries to get Gangvaa caught but Gangvaa runs away from police. Police puts a plan & catches Gangvaa but he runs away from jail. He & Jamuna (Shabana Azmi) try to run away from the village but Bullet(a villager) kills his lover Gangvaa for the money which police had kept as a reward for catching Gangvaa. Seeing this Jamuna also dies. They whole village is sad as they have lost their God.
