Synopsis: The story revolves round a dyslexia (learning disability) affected child, Ishaan (Darsheel Zafry). The movie has portrayed the life of a similar child in the aroma of modern competitive life of the society. Frames in the movie have captured flawlessly the moments of trauma, joy, abhorrence of the kid. He has also been banished to a boarding hostel as a punishment of his deflected nature. There he meets his mentor Mr. Nikumbh (Aamir Khan) who comes as a stop gap teacher of drawing and crafts, and identifies the terrible condition of little Ishaan deteriorating day by day. He takes up the case to the principal as well as Ishaan’s parents and goes out of the box to solve the problem with Ishaan. The kid does respond to his mentor ship and shows improvement in his behaviour. Over to that he once for more takes up painting brush in his hand to win a drawing competition and put even his mentor to the 2nd position.
