He is only interested to do the government work with full justice. When sharma tells Munjal Khurana (Shakti Kapoor) to remove some stories out of his building which are illegal, else the building will be broken, then Munjal tries to offer Sharma money which he rejects. Munjal kills Sharma and puts the blame on one of the villager Peter D’Mello who is arrested and given death sentence by the court. When Mrs. Sharma (Tanuja) comes to know that Munjal had killed her husband, she tries to go to police station but Munjal warns of killing her son. Mrs. Sharma decides to adopt Peter’s son John. But John runs away one day from school. John (Govinda) has now become a thief while Amar Sharma ( Sanjay Dutt) son of Mrs. Sharma has become a policeman and is posted at the same place where Munjal had killed his father. He is out on revenge of his father’s death. One day, John steals the purse of a girl Anju (Anita Raaj) who is the daughter of Munjal, Amar gets hold of the purse though John runs away. Anju falls in love with Amar. Gangiya (Paresh Rawal) who has become an enemy of Munjal helps Amar by ringing him after about the delivery of all illegal things connected with Munjal. Munjal hires John and offers him lots of money to kill Amar. Will John kill Amar? Will John come to know the real identity of Amar? Will he come to know that his father was killed by Munjal? Will Anju and Amar get married? Will Amar be successful in his revenge? All these questions are answered in the remaining part of the story with some interesting twists.
