Saajan Ka Ghar l Rishi Kapoor, Juhi Chawla l 1994

Synopsis : It is a story of Laxmi (Juhi Chawla) who is neglected by her father Dhanraj (Anupam kher) since her mother Shanti (Bina) dies at the time she was born. Dhanraj blames Laxmi for the death and sees her as a symbol of misfortune. he takes an oath that he will not see her face. Her Aunt, Geeta (Anjana Mumtaz) takes care of her. Laxmi’s bad luck haunts her all her life. Laxmi gets married to Amar (Rishi Kapoor) the son of Ramji (Aloknath) and his wife (Shobha khote). She leads a good life for a few days but her bad luck knocks at the door once again, with the death of her first child. Amar’s mother blames Laxmi for not being able to have a child again and throws her out of the house. She was pregnant at that time. Does Laxmi survive and break away from her ill fate?
