Synopsis: Srinivas was a learned Shastry whose son Madhav died in a boat accident. Madhav’s wife Saraswathi had a son but she joined college to pursure her studies. Here she fell in love with Anil and married him. When she went to the Shastry to claim her son he persuaded her to keep him with him. Saraswathi got three sons by Anil but all of them died young. She was very happy when the Shatry gave the grandson in her care and went on a pilgrimage.
