Synopsis : Mere Jeevan Saathi is one of the romantic movies of 1972, an era recognised for its musical hits. The plot of the movie revolves around an artist-painter named Prakash who has lost his vision. He falls in love with Jyoti, an ophthalmologist who helps him regain his vision. However during the blind phase of his life, he is trapped by a crual princess named Kamini who had helped Prakash to become famous. Kamini loves Prakash. But Prakash later falls in love with Jyoti. Prakash meets with an accident and Kamini saves him and in return she forces Prakash to love only her. But Prakash runs away from her and meets whose rinter usha’s non is suffering from eye proble. Now Vinod falls in love with Jyoti during Usha’s treatment and Vinod introduces Prakash to Dr.Jyoti only to find that they are in love with each other. Vinod becomes jealous. Does Prakash get Jyoti back in his life?
