Hatya l Akshay Kumar, Varsha Usgaonkar l 2004

Synopsis : This is the story of Ravi (Akshay Kumar) and his family, which includes his father, a wealthy businessman (Navin Nischol), his mother (Reema Lagoo), and his sister Seema. A man wants to buy a plot of land owned by Ravi’s father, Mr Ratanlal (Navin Nischol), however, he refuses to sell the plot. On his refusal the man and his associate, kill Ratanlal and his daughter, and Ravi who is also there at the scene of crime, gets badly injured. A venomous shape-changing snake (Ichhadhari Naag) gives a new life to Ravi as he himself transforms into Ravi’s body. This snake now decides to take revenge. Ravi’s mother gets Ravi married to his long time girlfriend, Kavita Jaiswal (Varsha Usgaonkar). Since Ravi and the snake’s soul are one now, he stays away from Kavita. Kavita thinks that the reason behind Ravi avoiding her, is that there is some other woman in Ravi’s life.

Will Kavita’s suspicions be put to rest? Will Ravi be able to take his revenge?
