Synopsis: Advocate Vikram (Mukesh Khanna) lives with his wife Kavita(Deepti Naval) and son Guddu (Shahrukh Khan). Vikram is a firm believer of science while kavita is a religious hindu and believes in God and his miracles. This difference of their opinions often leads to many aurguments between both of them, But Guddu always makes them reconcile. Popular in college, Guddu meets Salina (Manisha Koirala) during an inter college football tournament. Both fall in love. One day,when families of both Guddu and Salina go for a vacation together,both of them meet with an accident there as guddu looses the control of his vehicle, due to a severe headche. Both are immediately taken to the hospital, and sadly, Salina looses her eyesight. Guddu blames himself and so do Salina’s parents who ask him never to meet her again. Doctors also ask Guddu’s parents to conduct some tests of guddu about his headaches. When the reports come, its revealed that Guddu has brain tumour and he would live for only 2 to4 months. Guddu then realizes that he can help Salina get her eyes by donating his eyes after his death. Will his father allow him to do this? What will happen when Salina and her family comes to know about guddu being the donor? Will they forgive him then? Will salina get back her eyes? Watch out for some interesting twists in the story.
