Synopsis: Gopichand Jasoos (Raj Kapoor) is a private dectective who dreams of becoming famous. But no one gives him work. One day, his friend & neighbour Miss Bela(Zeenat Aman) who runs run a beauty parlour next to the Gopichnd’s office, comes to him for help, therefore giving Gopichand an assignment to Gopichand to investigate the character Jitender Verma (Vinod Mehra) who her father wants her to marry.As a result on a misunderstanding, Gopichand investigates some other guy, who had planned to rob a bank in which Bela’s father (Manmohan-Krishna) works as a manager. Now what will Gopichand do? Will he able to stop the robbery? Will Bela’s confusion be cleared out? This all leads to a hilarious climax of the film supported by Raj Kapoor’s brillinat performance.
