Synopsis: Deepak Srivastav (Rajesh Khanna) is a poor man . He loves Seema(Hema Malini). But her father doesn’t like Deepak and send her to America. The father Mr. Dayal (Om Shivpuri)gives money to Deepak’s brother-in-law Ajeet(Mazhar khan) to ask dowry from Deepak. Deepak is forced to forget Seema and get married . Deepak’s wife give birth to a son and dies. Ajeet kills Munibai (Ranjeeta Kaur) and Deepak takes the blame for his sister’s safety. Deepak get life time jail. Seema comes to know about this. Deepak asked Seema to take care of his son Vicky (Rajesh Khanna). Vicky becomes a lawyer and he loves Poonam (Poonam Dhillon). Ajeet blackmails Seema, that he will tell Vicky who his father is. Deepak kills Ajeet and Vicky takes the case for Deepak and in the end Vicky comes to know that Deepak is his real father. Both Deepak and Seema die in the court.
