Synopsis: Black Friday is based on a real-life incident of the bomb blasts that took place in Bombay in 1993. Taking a deep look at the event, Black Friday explores the cause, strategy, the culprits and the conspiracy behind the blasts that took the entire nation by storm. After the blasts, the case is assigned to a talented officer Rakesh Maria ( Kay Kay Menon ). How Rakesh investigates further and comes to know about the various aspects behind the blasts forms the major crux of the film.
