Badnam Farishte l Rajesh Khanna, Sharmila Tagore l 1971

Synopsis : The story is of 12 young men-actually 11 men and 1 girl- who pass out from colleges and reach Bombay with their Degrees/Diplomas in hand, dreams in eyes and hopes in heart. They get only a stepmotherly treatmant from the society as they do not earn anything. They come in contact with a Gunda(Anwar Hussain) and fall in his trap of doing all illegeal acts to earn momney.

However not being hard criminals, they realise their folly, leave the illegal acts and try to do odd but honest jobs, like selling vegetables, sundries etc, considering Dignity of labour.

The Gunda, however ensures that they are exposed and the police arrest them. In the court lot of Dialoguebazi is enacted. Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore are their advocates. The judge is Ppinchoo Kapoor. After many arguements etc. the Judge gives an analytical speech and a favourable verdict.
