Synopsis: Ranbir Singh / Rana (Pran) is retired from his job of DSP. But before retirement he arrests criminal Teja (Ajit) red handed while doing smuggling. But he runs away from jail & also kills Raja’s beloved grand son. He decides to fight criminals & partners with old friend Rajbeer Singh (Ashok Kumar). Both take the characters of Raja our Rana & move around doing police’s job. Vijay (Puneet Issar) is a young Inspector & is honestly fighting these criminals too. He loves beautiful Geeta (Aaloka Saundh). Teja’s criminal partners Pinto (Madan Puri) & Heeralal (Rajan) kill Geeta’s father in car bomb in front of her eyes. She also wants revenge. Clever criminals befriend Vijay’s greedy brother Shakti (Shakti Kapoor). Teja finds out about Vijay and decides to lure him with the charms of one of his girls, Lucky (Madhu Malhotra). Meanwhile the undercover show of Raja and Rana is so convincing that they end up in jail, and are bailed out by their friend, Imran Khan (Om Prakash). But, they still have no clues about Teja. In this fight of crime against law, who will win? What else will Raja & Rana do in their adventures?
