Synopsis : Rinku (Dimple Kapadia) and Amar (Rajeev Kapoor) are happily in love with each other. Things were fine until Rinku comes under the eyes of Businessman Ajeet Varma (Raj Babbar), who incidentally is the boss of her father Dayal (Madan Puri). He sends his brother (Kul Kulbhushan Kharbanda) and bhabhi Rama (Rama Viz) with the marriage proposal to Dayal. But Rinku rejects the offer and being furious Ajeet decides to take a harsh step and pushes Amar into a big deep lake. Everyone considers Amar to be dead, except his mother (Asha Parekh). She also gets surprised to see Rinku, who agrees to marry Ajeet. Time passes by and after six months Amar comes back. Amar’s mother is overjoyed but also gives the bad news about Rinku’s marriage to Ajeet. What should Amar do now? Why did Rinku marry to Ajeet?
