Software update: Shutter Encoder 16.5

Shutter Encoder is a free program that can edit and convert video files. It has an extensive list of possibilities, too long to mention here. The video below this article briefly shows the most important ones. It is available for Windows, macOS and Linux, and is actively being developed. It does not show advertisements, does not add a watermark and can also be used in Dutch. The author lives entirely from donations. Version 16.5 has just become available and the following changes and improvements have been made:

Added “Force interlacing” checkbox for “Blu-ray” function
Added “Auto” pre-settings for “Image cropping” section
Added “384” & “448” values for AAC encoding
Ability to use “Replace audio” function in batch (1st video, 2nd audio and so on)
Ability to download multiple URLs with the “Web video” function
Ability to use Ctrl + i to open “File(s) information…” window
Ability to use ratio for “Image cropping” section
