Review: Cooking with Alfred (2017)
Cooking with Alfred (2017)
Director: unknown | 2 minutes | animation, short film, comedy, family
In ‘Cooking with Alfred’ (2017), the third of four animated shorts that can be found on all home entertainment releases of ‘The Lego Batman Movie’, Batman’s loyal butler Alfred takes the spotlight. He has a real cooking show where he wants to show guests Batman and Dick Grayson how to make the perfect omelet. When this gets out of hand, Alfred accidentally makes a comment about Bat Monkey. Batman tries to reprimand him, but it is already too late, Dick’s curiosity has been piqued and that is not without consequences.
‘Cooking with Alfred’ has little to do with the main film, and like the other two films, the entertainment level is also mediocre. There is a good chance that this one will be watched once and that ‘The Lego Batman Movie’ will go on repeat again.
