Synopsis: Set-up in the backdrop of Mumbai, this is a story about a young bloke, Aamir Hussain (Aamir Khan), with a spit-firish character and a rebellious attitude. Unable to bear the pain he suffers on witnessing his girl-friend Neeta(Supriya Pathak) getting raped by a group of local Mumbai gangsters, headed by Gilali(Homi Wadia) and the feeling of restlessness and gloom he gets after the police turns it’s back on him, he decides to take law into his own hands. He is ably assisted by like-minded Inspector PK (Pankaj Kapur in an award-winning role), who, though is at the decision-making level of police hierarchy, is never able to have his say. Together, they hatch plans to murder all the members of the gang, but are they headed towards the right place? Where is this blood-bath which they have planned going to end? Would they be able to keep themselves happy and would their consience forgive them? What about Neeta? Would she be happy on seeing all this happen? Would she still accept Aamir?
